Join SPCC for our November Educational Session and Coalition Meeting, Wednesday, November 9, 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, (CDPHE) in the Carson Room. 4300 Cherry Creek Drive South, Denver, CO 80246.
Chronic spiritual struggles can lead to adverse health outcomes, while a well-integrated spirituality helps people experience greater resiliency, mental health, and well-being. The diverse nature of spiritual expression and the growing body of psychological research can be overwhelming to care providers who have not had access to training that integrates psychology with spiritual care. Dr. Kelly Arora, Director of Spiritually Integrated Continuing Education (SPICE) at Iliff School of Theology, will provide mental health providers, family members, and suicide survivors information on how to begin addressing the spiritual needs of individuals and families struggling with mental health challenges.
This event is free and open to the public.
For those who can not attend in person, you are invited to either join the conference online at https://www.uberconference.com/spccolorado or use the optional dial in number: 888-644-5563 No PIN needed.
