SPCC Members host events and classes throughout Colorado. Each month we have a complete calendar of events.
When a family loses a loved one to suicide, many times the
communities that care about them are at a loss of what to say or do.
What is often needed most is an embrace of care during this very
challenging time. Often, families feel alone in their grief as they try
to make sense out of the unimaginable.
The purpose of the iCare Packages are to let families know a community
exists that is there to support them.
iCare Packages contain resources: books to assist the bereaved and lists
of support groups and other organizations that exist to help people
through this very difficult crisis. Generous authors and publishers
donated or significantly discounted the books to support this effort.
Because this project is in part dependent on these contributions, the
contents of the packages may vary slightly over time. In addition, the
kind people who support the Carson J Spencer Foundation,
www.CarsonJSpencer.org, have
donated these iCare Packages to Colorado Families for a limited time.
