Administrative Assistant
Part Time (30-40 hours per month) | Employee | Reports to SPCC Chair
Virtual Position (Must live in CO)
$20.00 – $22.50 per hour DOQ
Job Responsibilities:
- ADVOCACY: Assist with the work of the Advocacy Committee and the Colorado State Advocacy Event planning committee.
- COLLABORATION: With the assistance of the Collaboration Committee, track SPCC membership and payments, share communication with members.
- EDUCATION: Assist the Education Committee as needed with communicating details on education sessions, including Bridging the Divide, to members, list serve, and social media.
- SOCIAL MEDIA: Ensure that all social media platforms are monitored and used appropriately. Postings as needed to support all committee work. Minimum 3 posts per platform per week.
- FINANCIALS: With the Treasurer’s oversight complete donation tracking, create and send thank you notes and 501(c)3 receipts, copy and file transactions, and send monthly financial reports to the Treasurer and accountant.
- MEETINGS: Attend and transcribe minutes at monthly Board meetings, annual coalition meetings, and relevant committee meetings. Secretary to review minutes.
- COMMUNICATION: Review and respond to SPCC email, voicemail, physical mail, social media messaging services, create and send monthly newsletter with oversight from Board Chair, update website with events, support groups.
- iCARE PACKAGES: Monitor and fulfill package requests, order materials, create, track, and send packages.
- DOCUMENTS: Organize, track, and file relevant documents for SPCC in Google Drive and physical file boxes, store SPCC tabling, business items, and brochures.
- BRIDGING THE DIVIDE: Work with BTD chair to solicit and communicate with sponsors, obtain and file relevant documents and payments, tabling at the event, and supplies. Duties in regards to this event are dependent on the need of the committee. Hours may be increased during the planning season of BTD.
- Other duties at the direction of the SPCC Chair
Must be able and willing to obtain basic suicide prevention training within 90 days of contract finalization.
Ideal candidates will have the following traits: self-starter, great communication skills, social media savvy, organized, compassionate, ability to work in a mostly virtual arena, flexibility. Working knowledge of Zoom, Google Workspace, Eventbrite, Canva and Constant Contact platforms.
