*The main education session starts in the morning at First Baptist Church of Denver then moves to the Colorado State Capitol building.
State Capitol Days bring together passionate volunteers to learn how they can advocate for state policy changes that will improve mental health and help prevent suicide in our state.
What you can expect:
• Training session on the basics of an effective advocacy
visit and current policy issues
• Hear from experts who will talk about the state of
mental health in Colorado
• Possible opportunity to meet with legislators and/or
their staff to be a voice for suicide prevention in your
community
